Templafy Tackles the AI Document Compliance Gap

Templafy MCP is a new integration that connects third-party AI platforms with Templafy’s document agents. The company says this lets enterprises govern AI-generated document creation across teams, tools and models without forcing employees into a single AI interface.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration allows AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini and Perplexity to hand content to Templafy's document agents.

The agents apply company-approved templates, brand assets, prompts, formatting rules and business data. The result is editable documents in Microsoft 365 formats that meet organisational standards.

MCP complements the company's existing enterprise API infrastructure.

The launch addresses a widening compliance gap. Generative AI has accelerated content creation across enterprises, but drafts routinely require manual rework to meet accuracy, brand and compliance standards before they can be shared. Documents produced outside approved templates also create records management and version control headaches.

MCP has rapidly emerged as the standard mechanism for connecting AI models to enterprise tools and data sources. Templafy claims its MCP is purpose-built for document generation rather than general tool connectivity. The document agents also draw on enterprise systems such as CRM and digital asset management platforms to enrich output with approved business data.

“AI is changing where document creation begins, but enterprises still need control over where it ends,” said Oskar Konstantyner, Chief Product Officer, Templafy.

“Templafy's MCP gives professionals the freedom to use their preferred AI tools to get their work done, while document agents operate in the background to ensure the output is high-quality, accurate, and aligned with company standards, creating documents that are business-ready. For organizations it means no longer having to choose between AI flexibility and document control.”

Templafy MCP is available now across the company's document agent offerings. Templafy claims more than four million users worldwide, with customers including KPMG and BDO.
