Fujitsu Small Steps
Fujitsu Small Steps
October 23, 2007: Fujitsu has announced two new scanners for the desktop, both housing an extremely small footprint as the key to their usability.
Releasing the S300 and S510, Fujitsu has announced their smallest scanner yet through the S300 which can be used as a mobile unit and easily carried around to meet scanning requirements anywhere in the office. Designed more for branches and or small offices, the S300 can scan 8 pages per minute and is suitable for digitising a desktop environment.
Meanwhile the S510 is suitable for larger volumes of documents with capabilities of 18 x A4 pages per minute. Suitable for documents of all shapes and sizes, Fujitsu says the unit will scan anything from business cards up to A3 pieces and can be used instead of a photocopier.
The S300 and S500 can also network between workgroups through Fujitsu’s recently released network scanner, FI-6000NS – meaning users can easily share documents.
