Cadac Group has added new Document Control capabilities to its SharePoint-based Engineering Data Management solution, Organice. 

The Organice DM&C solution supports three major areas of the asset lifecycle:

1. - Design Document Creation – enabling design models to effectively run document lifecycles;
2. - Engineering Document Control – a  document lifecycle engine for capital projects; and
3. - Engineering Document Management.

The key capabilities are:

3. -  Managing high volume of documents by effective filter- and search options;
4. -  Fully automated and configurable sequential and parallel review processes;
5. -  Pre-defined distribution lists that can be adjusted on the fly;
6. -  Support for digital markups and annotations that can be consolidated automatically;
7. -  Support for multiple extranet scenarios including more traditional submittal/transmittal based processes, including cover sheets and monitoring tasks;
8. -  Drag & drop between yprojects and other storage devices; and
9. -  Integration with design data management solutions like Autodesk Vault.
