AIIM for 1997

Sydney will be the host city for the 1997 National Summit of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), which shall be directed and coordinated by the AIIM Federal Executive in conjunction with the AIIM NSW Branch Executive.

John Pearce, AIIM Federal Director, Programs, has the primary responsibility for the Summit.

The summit will run from October 27 to 28, 1997 and workshops have been scheduled for October 29. It will take place at the AJC Convention and Exhibition Centre, Alison Road, Randwick, and arrangements have been made for the trade to set up on October 26, 1997.

The Summit proceedings shall be consistent with the promotion of the association's theme for this year "AIIM '97 - The Key to Document Enabled Business Solutions".

The Summit should assist AIIM meet its mission of providing 'value for money' educational and development service for AIIM members and be the major focal point of an active marketing campaign to attract new AIIM members.
