Captiva launches FormWare 2.5
Captiva Software, information-capture software specialists, has announced the release of FormWare V2.5, which offers both forms-processing and document-capture capabilities.
FormWare 2.5 automates data entry from forms in addition to capturing, enhancing and indexing images, and is designed for companies that process large volumes of complex forms and those that need to index and archive unstructured documents, such as legal and financial materials.
New features include automated image-quality control and rescan capabilities for detecting and efficiently handling problem images, and integration with Adobe Acrobat Capture 2.0.1, which allows production-volume PDF or HTML file generation with highly accurate data and index information
FormWare V2.5 runs on Windows 9X and NT in a desktop or client/server architecture that supports both Microsoft's Windows NT Server and Novell's NetWare. Pricing starts at $35,000 for a four-station network system.
