eProcess debut

Staffware will launch eProcess, its new electronic commerce-driven workflow application, at its user conference in April.

EProcess will be an Internet-based workflow system for enabling business-to-business (B2B) transactions, according to the company.

Although technical information on the system is still sketchy, Staffware is hoping that companies will use it to gain competitive advantage in the fast-paced world of e-commerce.

"Building a B2B solution based on workflow ensures that front-end systems are not isolated from the back-office engines, on which core business processes rely, and ensures that the benefits of self service and straight-through processing flow through for real competitive advantage," the company said in a statement.

The Australasian Staffware Conference 2000 will be held at Dockside in Cockle Bay in Sydney on the 6th and 7th of April.
