Capture Professional 4.0 and Capture Desktop 4.0 form part of the FileNet ECM solution.
Capture allows a business to acquire and index electronic and paper based content and then distribute accordingly. The latest version of Capture includes support for TWAIN scanners, enhanced reporting functionality, optical character recognition, automated indexing and conversion to PDF using the Scansoft application.
Capture Desktop 4.0, an application designed for companies or departments that only require small volume content and document management, has a new distribution functionality designed into it. FileNet claim this allows for work to be shared across multiple users.
