July 23, 2009:More than 80,000 TAFE South Australia students and educators will come together in a digital campus being provided by SunGard Higher Education to the SA State Government.

State Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education Hon. Michael O'Brien MP said,the company's solution was selected to create and extend a digital campus that would help manage students across more than 50TAFE South Australia campuses.

"By moving to the Banner Unified Digital Campus, TAFE South Australia will provide a personalized experience for students and single point of secure access. The Banner Unified Digital Campus will also helpTAFE South Australia better manage service and course offerings and improve data accuracy. The system will also help streamline administration and consolidate state-wide data management and management reporting for audit, analysis and improved decision making.

SunGard provides software and processing solutions for financial services, higher education and the public sector. SunGard also provides disaster recovery services, managed IT services, information availability consulting services and business continuity management software.
