Nov 1, 2005: Electronic document and records management consultants Image Process Solutions (IPS) have re-invented themselves with the aid of Meridio to become a complete eDRMS solution provider.
Traditionally, IPS has been involved in providing public and private enterprises with implementation skills and services surrounding electronic document and records management solutions. Some organisations acquire eDRMS technologies but do not have the necessary skills and knowledge to implement them. IPS steps in at this point and manages the entire project delivery and roll out of the eDRMS system.
This includes project planning, analysis, design, testing and post implementation support with a focus on meeting the necessary legislative requirements for compliance.
Having recently extended their relationship with Irish eDRMS software developer Meridio to become full implementation partners, IPS is now able to offer the complete eDRMS package.
Meridio utilises the Microsoft Sharepoint environment to deliver eDRMS, which is exactly what IPS was looking for.
"We found a number of organisations had invested in the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Portal/Services technologies however, the ability to further extend the platform to deliver better information management was lacking." Meridio transparently integrates with Microsoft Office products, allowing enterprises to implement up to date eDRM with few changes to infrastructure and training. It acts as the central repository for all business critical documents, enabling them to be accessed both internally and externally encouraging better business processes, interoperability of all departments, systems and web portals.
