Paperless Office Comes To QLD

February 9th, 2006: Objective signs for Queensland's Redcliffe City Council in a 200-seat records management coup.

The council, which boasts a AU$72-million budget across 50,000 seats has chosen Objective to replace its current, physical system. The paperless office comes to Queensland tax payers.

According to Objective: "The Council will use Objective to provide a corporate information repository to facilitate effective information management and manage a range of physical and electronic information such as drawing plans and digital pictures used for construction projects of new parks and buildings."

Bob Holmes, Chief Executive Officer, Redcliffe City Council says: "Asa council we need to manage a variety of information, document formats and access to this information from a corporate perspective. We required a solution that would underpin internal process improvement and fully enable electronic management of information and processes throughout the council. "Following an extensive evaluation process Objective was selected as the preferred supplier due to its extensive search capabilities and ease of use. Objective provided us with a tool that would enable us to continually improve our business processes into the future."
