Secured Signing launches esignature upgrade

Australasian eForms and eSigning service, Secured Signing, has announced an update to its capabilities beginning with a new contemporary flat design of the cloud platform.

The dynamic layout used by the new site further improves mobile support, making best use of the screen real estate available. On the smaller screens of mobile devices everything is clear and easy to read without needing to ‘pinch to zoom’.

“More and more we are seeing people using our service from tablets and smartphones” said Mike Eyal, the Managing Director of Secured Signing.

There is also a range of new capabilities and improvements to existing features.

Secured Signing offers an Australian Tax Office (ATO) approved, online tax file number (TFN) declaration service. To meet ATO requirements, a code required to complete the signing process is sent by SMS to provide a second form of identity verification.  “Confidence in the identity of the person signing is important to our customers so it was obvious we should make this option part of the core service.” said Eyal.

Secured Signing now provides two factor authentication by SMS as part of the standard We Sign workflow that allows you to invite one or many people to sign your electronic document.

The ability for an invitee to Reroute or Decline invitations is an enhancement that will be particularly welcomed by procurement managers among others. It is typical that the people involved in finalising a contract or agreement aren’t necessarily those authorised to sign the final document.

The reroute option allows the person receiving the invitation to provide the details of the person who has authority to sign the contract or agreement. Secured Signing automatically reissues the invitation and the document log captures the details of the reroute providing prefect transparency for the document owner.

Users with libraries of PDF forms that can be filled on screen are being catered to via an updated Form Filler app which recognises the defined fields as soon as they are added to the system. This makes it even easier to take your existing electronic forms, add them to Secured Signing and immediately start inviting people to not only complete them but also to sign online.
