Advertising Account Coordinator Required

IDM magazine requires an enthusiastic Advertising Account Coordinator with a genuine interest in information management technologies and strategies.

Situated in Surry Hills, this small team-based environment is looking for a self-starter willing to learn publishing from an advertising and events perspective. The position involves assisting with and developing our current and well established group of advertisers for our magazine and website, as well as researching, building on existing ideas and tapping new market potential.

Strong organizational skills are a must, as events coordination will increasingly become a major aspect of this role. For the right candidate, future events will present some exciting and rewarding opportunities from both a sponsorship and production point of view.

* Clear written and spoken English.
* Have the confidence and presentation to meet/greet and liaise with current and potential clients at formal meetings and events
* A keen interest/desire to research new market potential and tap a new pool of advertisers while also offering informative input into event ideas and new business strategies.
* The ability to participate in the management and creation of live events & exhibitions
* An enthusiastic attitude for building on existing advertising relationships and forging new ones.
* An interest in publishing, especially magazine and online advertising.
* The ability to work with, and contribute to a small team environment across various aspects of the business.
