PortalFront Tru Apps has announced a new “Convert to PDF” feature in SharePoint and Office 365.

The feature is a new addition to PortalFront’s Tru Copy & Paste for SharePoint App that works with SharePoint Online (Office 365) and on premise SharePoint 2013 installations. 

The app converts documents from Word (doc, docx), Excel (xslx), PowerPoint and other formats to PDF directly in SharePoint libraries and also allows batch conversion and supports many other file types to PDF. Users select the files they wish to convert and launch the app to convert the files. The App is available today in the Office 365 Store by searching for “Tru.” Batch conversion is also supported.

Tru Copy & Paste installs in seconds and adds the feature to users’ SharePoint ribbon. Users can select multiple document or folders, click copy, browse to a destination location and paste those files.
